He produces work in a range of fields including musical composition, art exhibits/installations, sound design for film, radio programming and performance works in mediums such as dance.

James Stephen Finn will be performing a live improvised noise set alongside Kacper Ziemianin and Peter Smith under the name of Tiger Walking Downhill at Outsider at The Montague Arms in New Cross. There will also be performances from DJ BPM, Snatch, Christmas Gimp and visuals from Flickering Light.
Admission is £5 on the door (£3 for concessions), with the evening’s events starting at 8.30pm.

Recently, as part of Hilltown New Music Festival’s ’Close To The Sound - Behind The Melody - Near The Inaudible’, a ‘Listening Room’ was setup in Herd’s Lounge of Hilltown House in Ireland. This feature of the festival included a piece by Kacper Ziemianin, Peter Smith and James Stephen Finn.
